It’s lovely to meet you! My name is Becky, and “Kazana” is the adopted surname I share with my husband and son. Kazana has meanings in many cultures, from Africa, to India and Turkey. It is variously translated as “to busy oneself”, “to make a home” or “to find a jewel”. We adopted this name as a reminder us that our home is not a physical place, but our life together. Our travels have taken us through Africa, Europe, China, and all over the United States. We spent three years on The Big Island of Hawaii, but now make our home back where we first met, in beautiful Minneapolis.
